Hamish, it goes to show just what the power of the people (in this case and ours, the veterans) can do! People power is the stuff of legend and we should use it more than we do to correct the inequalities and injustices that those in positions of authority foist upon us. We WILL win the right to wear our medal I have no doubt of that and we now know just how to fight for others less fortunate than ourselves such as the Ghurkas and our injured comrades in arms.
