Part 1 PURPOSE OF THE CODE, paragraph (b); part iii PUBLIC DUTIES OF MEMBERS no. 5 is also very interesting in that it states that 'members have a duty to uphold the law, inclduing the general law against discrimination, and to act in all occasions in accordance with the public trust placed in them.
Ian 'Pinnochio' Pearson has told us to ignore the rules and wear our medal if we like; he has ignored the rules and has not upheld the law; and he has failed in his duty to protect us from discrimination.

...I don't know about anyone else, but what I personally have received in my dealings with a selection of the aforementioned 'Ministers', certainly didn't reflect much of this 'openness and accountability' that the document specifies.
