Yes I know of FIVE on parade this morning. The one already seen in photograph, plus two who were in the Northern Irish contingents. My wife Kathy wore hers and paraded with the RAF as the representative of Princess Mary's RAF Nursing Service and I fronted the Far East Veterans Association Plot. The Duke of Edinburgh said to me "They are quite a few of you about today" Was he refering to the fact that several organisations were involved in the Far East or was he commenting on the number of PJM's ? We may never know.

Knowing the Duke as I do he most likely meant the latter. He does not miss much.

I was selling poppies from start to finish 29 Oct - 10 Nov, during which time I printed several Veterans Badge applications for my clients, AND. would you believe 2 PJM application forms; as well as telling a chap, one of our sellers, who had received the PJM to put it on his bar - he wasn't sure that he should, but he is now convinced!
