What many of these MP's and so called Civil Servants do not know (or care) is that some of us who were sent out to Malaysia were not even of voting age, 18.
I for one was only Seventeen and a half when I touched down on Malaysian soil. AND how many more were just like me?
My point is...my reckonable service date for a pension did not start until I turned 18!!
That means I got paid yes, but they got six months of my service life for which they will NEVER give me credit for!
Nor do they want me to be able to wear the ONLY medal I can get for that six months, given I might add by the Malaysian Government!
Nothing from the British government, who in their wisdom sent me out their under age, other than free Paludrine tablets and Whitfield Ointment for Dhobi rash!
Amazing eh!
