Yes Paul, I guess their heads held high in honour of 35000 comrades, how proud those guys must be feeling, I hope those UK Civil Servants are hiding in a corner hanging their heads in disgrace. 800 years ago their heads would have been put on spikes on London Bridge for all to shout abuse at, perhaps we are too civilised a nation these days to do such a thing.
I wonder if any of them have no shame ........................

John,
I believe you overestimate civil servants....some are working for the good, but unfortunately most do not have a concience or even know what shame is. as for hanging their heads...they only do that when it hits the fan and they hope it will miss.

Question?
Q: What do you get when you cross a flower with a Civil Servant?
A: A blooming idiot.

Yes, we will show our utter contemp for the politicians and civil servants by wearing our medal with pride. They are sticking to a rule telling us we cannot wear it yet their rule has as much substance as that stuff that runs out of a child's nappy. Just a pity that our Queen has not shown support for those whose fought for Queen and Country by telling the suits where to get off and banishing the few who deliberately supplied her with false and misleading information. It seems that nowadays, like Two Shags you can get away with everything whether illegal or just incompetent, provided you are a pal of Teflon Tone whose wife is reported to be discourteous to the Queen by refusing to curtsey. We will just have to take them all on.
Forward and 'up em all Tommy Atkins.

Hi John,
I have just seen your posting regarding about 900 supporters for when your blokes go to receive thier PJM's, OOPS, sorry, the time has flown and they now have them. In any event you have more support than you know..!!!
There is a rapidly growing number of serving & ex-service people here who are just realising what a struggle you are having with the wearing of your PJM's. I have sent an email to Barry.F. today offering what I hope is some assistance to your cause. I hope we can help you from here by way of support if little else.
We all served as equals in the "J" and other places as needed, and should all stand together again on this issue.
UBIQUE
