This morning's parade
Dave,
I too watched it through, and like you I saw many PJMs mostly worn in other contingents, but I didn't see the NMBVA either and I was looking with special interest. Coincidence or censorship?

This mornings parade.
I watched the parade at the cenotaph on telly. Start to finish. Saw a number of PJM's worn. Strange I thought, that there was not a single mention of the NMBVA Contingent or even a camera shot of the same. I am absolutely certain of this. Correct me if I am wrong. Very odd? Dave

Thanks for the post phredd ......a haunting and emotional song have downloaded fro m the canadian army web site.
The site was full of veterans affairs , pictures and regional veterans clubs etc. Really puts our goverment site in the shade, but we already knew that our MOD have no interest in serving forces so what chance the old and the bold like us!!!!!
Thanks again ! I commend it to the members

Nothing to do with the PJM, but I can't let this BBC Topic pass by without highlighting this here this weekend.........

Ian has asked me to respond to you as he is currently away from the office. He says that he hopes everyone who has been awarded the PJM wears it with pride on Remembrance Day and that he will still press personally, for the official nonsense to be sorted out as soon as possible.

As the day is fast approaching don't forget this message from a CURRENT Government Minister!
Fantastic, John.
And he is not just any old Minsiter ... he's the one who proclaimed the flawed and discredited PJM Ministerial Statement in the Commons.
So his change of mind is absolutely fundamental.
