And my comments were - below,

What a pity that HM Government allows these veterans to receive this great award from the Peoples of Malaysia who so honour them, but does not allow the veterans to actually wear the medal under a MoD order that to do so would, be discourteous to HM The Queen.

On the other hand, Australian and New Zealanders can accept and wear this same medal with the full assent of HM The Queen.

What a disgraceful Government we have got that hands out such an insult to the Government and peoples of Malaysia who offered this award to our Veterans for their service in the early 1960s.
