Denis Healy was on television yesterday (29/12/06) talking about 1976 when he were Chancellery and because of the state of the British Economy he had to go to the IMF for help, he said that the Civil Servants at the Treasury had lied to him, Civil Servants lying that couldn’t happen again, could it?
