See page 183 of Tinson's book "Medals Will be Worn".

I do not know, because I do not have the book in front of me, whether he refers to the Gazette entry anywhere else in his book. Perhaps you could have a look in your copy and let me know.

I see that Prince Philip, according to these web sites, is entitled to the Malta medal.

Interestingly, Prince Philip's Malta gong is listed under a section British Empire/Commonwealth Orders and Awards - there is a separate section for Foreign stuff.
