Broken Covenant
Signed up some days ago and got a 'Thank you' email this morning. Lovely people aren't they - even more of an example to a particular type of strange persons.

RBL Broken Covenant Campaign
No longer being a UK resident I didn't see the value in signing on to the Petition...but being just as concerned as my comrades who do reside in the UK I have today submitted the following to the RBL website:
To whomsoever it may concern:
Being a veteran who served in Malaya, I have the deepest feelings about what I perceive to be the disgraceful abandonment of returning soldiers by an apparently callous and uncaring Ministry of Defence....no longer being a resident of the UK (I have been Canadian for more than 40 years) it is not possible, neither would it possibly prove productive, for me to sign on to your petition.
In support however, let me state that there must be many ex-pats like myself, who fully understand from experience, the difficulties encountered by those returning home suffering from injuries, either physical or emotional. They do indeed deserve the best that can be provided in terms of appropriate, timely and continuing medical treatment and/or suitable compensation.
I applaud this RBL initiative and wish those conducting this campaign much success.
Sincerely.
'Jock' Fenton.

Backing a Canadian Scot.
You said it all, as usual Jock; and knowing your feelings for all who served and suffered consider that my pennnyworth of support was equally divided between us. You owe me a wee bawbee, or maybe a bite of Coulters' candy.

BROKEN COVENANT
Tony,
I got a thank you email as well. I've also sent out a 'round robin' email to friends and relatives
as they requested.
