Members of the Malaya Brunei Borneo Veterans Association Scotlane receive their PJMs.

Is the 'secret war' one of the reasons that this wretched government and the civil servants, with out-dated Imperialist tendencies, who run it have tried to stop you wearing your honourable medal?

Read all about it: http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=149235&command=displayContent&sourceNode=149218&contentPK=16895856&moduleName=InternalSearch&formname=sidebarsearch

How the hell the Government can continue to maintain that our work out East is or was a "Secret War" in the 21st century, is totally beyond comprehension. Anyone who is vaguely interested should simply look up Controntation on any reasonable search engine !

There are many of us PJMers who took part in Claret Operations.

The suits haven't a clue what I'm talking about which is yet another reason they rate the PJM as sub-standard - but rate as worthy of wear awards such those that ccommemorate for the umpteenth time (a medal for each) the anniversary of the accession many years ago of a certain person in the Middle East (he with with oil reserves, natch!)

Claret is something the suits drink in their comfortable clubs while others fight illegal battles that they got us into in the first place.

Barry
