Veterans Day
This first Veterans Day does not seem to have much publicity, so may I suggest that if you know of any event taking place on this day you put the time and place on this section so that those who can, can attend and spread the gospel.

Scottish Daily Express - Brown 'hijacks' the Day
Andy has just sent this cutting from the Scottish Daily Express (their copyright, dated 25th June 2006):
It seems that this is a closed shop for the Government ... and the day is being boycotted by veterans.

Veterans Day is now renamed Armed Forces Day, I am just about to blast Ipswich Borough Council for not having planned anything last year or this year!
