According to the Malaysian National News Agency - Bernama.com on 17th April, 2010.
At the Officers Club, Kuala Lumpur, of the Royal Malaysian Regiment, 55 PJM's were presented to Malaysian Armed Forces personnel by the Vice President of Umno Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Also present at the ceremony was Army Chief, General Tan Sri Muhamad Ismail Jamaluddin.
No doubt these honourable people will not be too happy with the British Honours and Decorations Committee describing foreign awards (and their honourable Pingat Jasa Malaysia which was not allowed to be worn in the UK) as 'Medals that do not meet the standard criteria should not be allowed to be worn on the same basis as those that do'.
We can only hope that this shame and dishonour brought upon our country by an unelected and secret quango will be removed after the 6th May, 2010.
