I have received this message from Malaysia:

"I am a former police officer ... I intend to do a PhD on the role of the Malaysian Police ( Special Branch and Jungle Squad, later known as PFF) during the emergency. I hope you can introduce me to individuals (RMP personnel) who had serve in Malaya or Malaysia between 1948-1960 and 1960 - 1989"

I am sure he will also be interested to hear from ex-Malay Police.
