Message=I served with 7 Troop C company 40 Cdo RM in Burma camp JB Malaya in 1965 before going to Tebedu in Borneo. I had a great time in the Corps and remember the good/hard times doing jungle patrols in Borneo in 65 and 66 and listened to the radio on England winning the world cup in 66.At the time we were in a hilltop location in Simangang or Semengang. Our company commander was Major Weston, who had a withered right arm, who won the MC for one of our actions against Indonesian forces at a place called Perepin.Anyone out there from 40 who remembers those times. Does anyone have any information on how to obtain details of the action at Perepin if so please let me know.
