Have just seen this thread after returning to sunny Penang after a couple of days in KL during which I managed to meet up with Petenic and Tunku Mahmood.
Have emailed both Mr Touhig and Mr Harper thanking them for their efforts on our behalf.

Well done Laurie, did you invite the KL BHC suits along as well to join in the party spirit!?

Phil Marshall sent me this for posting.....another MP on-board!
Dear Mr Marshall
Thanks for alerting us however I can report that Lembit signed this EDM today (will probably take a couple of days until it shows up online). I have already put a copy in the post which hopefully you should receive over the next couple of days.
I also understand that Michael Mates is in the process of tabling another similar but longer version of the EDM however I'm not sure which number it is. Will probably appear on the list of EDMs over the next few days. Will do our best to look out for it.
All the best
Simon

I'd like to second Jock's appreciation. Thanks Roy - the letter you elicited from your MP is further testament to the rapidly growing public profile of MPs support for our cause.

Roy
Is there any chance you can get a copy of this letter re Bureaucratic Nonsense as explained by your MP to those at the Cabinet Office and perhaps your local newspaper who have supported our cause recently. This could well be an eye opener to the suits.

Roy....Permit me to add my support to this suggestion by John...it is a highly intelligent one....and it might be reasonably easy to 'sell', as, in addition to furthering our case, it would also confer benefit on both, the newspaper and the local MP.

Dear Rev Morgan,
Thank you for your email. I am pleased with the support colleagues are giving the EDM . I hv spoken to Defence and Cabinet Office ministers enlisting their support behind the scenes. We hv to keep up the pressure.
Yours sincerely,
Don Touhig
=================================================
............So there you have it boys!....the Rev. David (not himself eligible for the PJM!) is prepared to support the cause in this forthright manner......if YOU haven't written a similar email to your MP...What's your excuse?
PS....Don't neglect to read the comment (his words, my hi-lights) from Don Touhig (former Minister of Defence)

EDM
I have contacted my local newspaper - the Andover Advertiser - to tell them of this farce, and ask if they will support us - I gave them this web-site address to give them a good taster. Hardly the national press I know, but it's worth a go. I also emailed my MP Sandra Gidley for the second time in two days - she will get fed up with this before I do !

Jock,
Brilliant and unselfish lobbying from Rev David Morgan.
I hope PJMers will heed The Don's 'emboldened' words.

Well done, as one supermarket says Every Little Helps one day soon we are going to hit the headlines, well we already have in lots of respects, but what I mean is a whole army of up to 35000 will nail someone or something to the mast!

Re: EDM356
I have just e-mailed Andrew Mackinlay MP and thanked him for being one of the first signatories to EDM 356. I took the opportunity to suggest he looks at EDM 375 as well.
Here's hoping
