Dear RO5,
As an ageing aircrew who flew ageing Shackletons, I can now let you into a secret.
We dropped those breakable containers on you, because we were worried if we hit you with a solid cardboard box it might sink you ! Did you get the christmas card we sent you ?
All the best
MIKE

Post "SCROATS"
I think John should be congratulated on his latest name for for the "Suits" and would like hitherto see the Name "SCROATS" adopted by all of our members, it's a long time since I last heard that Term of endearment, H.M.S Ganges 1960. Thanks John for providing this key word for 2007...."SCROATS"....Brilliant.

I really cannot see what there is for 8 Committee Members to discuss, this medal was awarded by a King of a Foreign Nation to a shed full of pensioners/near pensioners for protecting the new Independent State of Malaysia. If the Agong gave me a sarong as a gift I would have the choice to wear it or not, remember The Labour Party Chairperson, Hazel Blears informed the British People a few weeks ago that this Government could not tell its citizens what to wear or not to wear, well they are doing just that with the PJM. You cannot officially wear it.

They should keep their noses out of the trough, but no we have to interfere with everything that we have no entitlement to interfere with.

The mind boggles on such ineptitude from so few to so many
