Post Western Road Cemetery, Penang, 2006.
I recently visited the Western Road (now Jalan Utama) Cemetery here in Penang with regard to a query from a member of another Association that I belong to. Whilst there, I took several photos.

Just inside the main entrance, is the Memorial Wall inscribed with the names of those based in the Penang area that did not make the journey home:

This second photo shows the resting places on those whose names are included on the Wall. This area also includes graves from the Confronation period.

The last photo shows the area where European members of the Federal Police Force who died during the 1948 - 60 Emergency period are now laid to rest.
