Post The Bizarre Case of Baroness Symons 
This person was the one who didn't want us to get the PJM.

She said in Parliament, from memory, that the Government of Malaysia hadn't offered the medal.

She was right on that bit, if wrong on everything else. According to the Ministerial Statement, the award was offered to the British by Malaysia 'last year' i.e. in 2005 - months after they had offered it to the Aussies and Kiwis! The Malaysians knew, didn't they. They knew their gracious offer would be treated as snub grub by that Committee.
