Post Help.
I have just been told that although the Malaysian Government made a formal approach to the British Government to award this medal to eligible veterans they have not made any comment whatsoever about the CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE placed by the British Government on the acceptance and wearing of the Pingat Jasa Malaysia. It is said that this means the Malaysian Government has not yet agreed to issue the Pingat Jasa Medal under these conditions.
Can someone please help to clarify this situation as I am told clarification cannot be obtained from The Malaysian High Commission in London.

Perhaps a refusal by the Malaysians to offer the medal after all might make these jumped up Civil Servants to take note. That would be some publicity........!
