Brilliant, Arthur! 'Holely' excellent!
On that happy note, I'm off for a coldie ...

A dinner at the Victory Services Club would be good and guess who the secretary is, yes you guessed, Vice Admiral Wilkinson no less! We could really singe his snobbish beard there.
A demo on the street outside a large house in London might also be good?

I was fortunate to be invited to the VSC 40th Anniversary of the end of Confrontation Luncheon. Rear Admiral Nick Wilkinson was there. I wonder if he is any relation to Rear Admiral PJ Wilkinson, HD Committee member for the MoD.

I've been trying real hard to think of four more names - without success.

I've just been going over the numbers, quite carefully I might add.
If we are 5000 troops short in Afghanistan, and quite a few thousand short in Iraq.
By the law of averages, and by extrapolation, by the end of the year 2010, we will actually have a negative army.
By that, if the figures are correct, we will actually have a minus figure, like in the world of accounting.
We will lead the world in having a total deficit army.
Let's see if the Americans can top that one.
Any comments on that one Mr Latham?
Yours Aye

Come on Pete, don't beat about the bush, tell us what you really think.
Only kidding, I deal with the aftermath of war, the broken minds and spirit.
Some of the tales, and I have no reason to disbelieve them, are horrendous
It makes me ashamed of the Government's incompetence and crass stupidity.
I wear my GSM with pride, with one eye firmly on the Government, and my hand firmly on my wallet.
The sentiments that you echo are so true, and it makes you wonder how, allegedly, any rational person could make the decisions that they do.
I am still toying with the idea of standing for Parliament, because there is no way that I would ever fall for the bullshit of MPs and Civil servants.
Yours Aye

If we are looking at the HD Committee as Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs first I must point out that this is not “PC” it should be "alternative coloured snow and the 7 height impaired people".
Now the head of this household was in the bath feeling Happy,
Happy got out so she felt Grumpy.

Hello Paul,
It's funny you should mention Snow White and the 7 vertically challenged people.
Didn't someone say that an apple a day keeps the doctor away?
