Thank you all for your kind words. I try my best, like everyone involved in this site to be non-political and respectful to Her Majesty the Queen and Heirs but I am afraid my cool disappeared and the blood pressure tablets got popped when I read that a politician like Harper (Mr. Dumpty) appears to believe he has the authority to tell me what to do with a General Service Medal I had earned and was awarded by my Queen and country. I was only 18 years of age when I was sent to Malaya in 1956 and had never been away from home before that. To say that it was a cultural shock is an understatement. When, oh when, are these people who go into politics going to wake up and smell the coffee and (in my case) the toast burning.
