Thanks Laurie - our PJM Logo has pride of place! Can't miss it.
Now then ... those photographs are brilliant. I'll spend some time surfin' around your web site - it'll be of great interest.
Do you think we could have a couple from the PJM era on the PJM web site? I'm going to place a link to you from us on our Links page, but I would also want to place a link on the Memories page where any photographs you send me will be published (with attribution to you, of course). If you want to do that, please send as many as you wish - downloading this end is no problem.
Thanks again for the PJM Logo. Barry

John, I have spoken to a few people here and they can't believe the petty mindedness of this.
Barry, no problems with the photos. I don't have too many from that era up yet so I will have to sort some out. What is the best way to get them to you? Email attachment for instance?
Laurie.

By email is fine, Laurie. Size of files does not matter.
And I was interested to hear those remarks. My Malaysian friends are well miffed at the British - they knew they were going to be rebuffed which is why they offered the medal to HMG only after they had offered it to Australia and New Zealand. I am told that somebody in this country suggested that tactic in order to force those dinosaurs into not simply rejecting the PJM.

Barry, I'll sort some photos out for you over the next day or so and send them on. I'll start with those on my photo pages and search through the others that I haven't as yet scanned.
Laurie.

I have put an 'advert' on Channel 4 TV Teletext Servicepals Page 172 for the next two weeks ( you get an extra week at Easter & Christmas!), re my own forum, so there may be some bods that see the PJM logo/threads if any join.
You have to wait a month before submitting the same website, I trust Gerry and his wife have a more peacful week than last week in answering the phone, well done both of you I know how hard it is if someone is lonely and just wants a chat!

Royal Marines
I have sent an email to the webmaster for the Royal Marines, I noticed that the PJM was mentioned on their web site but nothing about the fight to wear it. Lets hope they join in.

Wrote to Jack 'the lad' Straw to-day requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act. The Queen and Royal Family are exempt but there are conditions when it could be in the public interest to divulge information; Don Touhig put it into the public domain when he told us they recommended and the Queen agreed the non-wearing rule; we have a right to know just what we are being told to do etc. Will advise if ever I get a reply.
Also wrote to the Secretary, Committee on Public Standards, complaining of the lack of respect for the 'law on general discrimination' by FCO and in particular Ian Pearson. Will also advise if I hear anything, or if I can get hold of a computer in Saughton Jail, Edinburgh.

Great stuff, Andy.
I'll pop in on visiting days - your lobbying is keeping the pressure up.

Great stuff Martin, I wonder if The Queen will spot a Vietnamese stamp and pick that one out to read personally
