Visit to Malaysia- Merdeka Day
May I just wish you bon voyage to all our intrepid PJMers on their trip to Malaysia in the next few days. We know that you are representing thousands of us, so march tall, arms swinging, chests out and wear those medals with pride.
The 519 deserve it..........
Lest we forget..............

To all those soon to return to Malaya for the Merdeka celebrations....
My very best wishes for a safe, exciting and in every way memorable, trip...those of us not fortunate enough to be on-board, will nonetheless, be with you in spirit !
...and; a special thought for any ex-SAS or Para's who may be travelling with you....at least this time you won't have to jump boys!

Those that are going to Malaysia why not on your way back to the various airports around the world tip off the press that you will be wearing the PJM outside Malaysia and thus technically breaking the law, you never know there might be a cameraman from The Sun or Mirror there when Immigration carts you off to see The Ravens!

Good luck lads and ladies. Have a great Merdeka celebration.
For those staying at home TIGER BEER is on sale in Asda. Buy and remember the days and times gone by.

Just think of jolly Jack tars ashore and what they certainly used to get up to. I might even have had a wander down it myself once when on leave from up country....just to soak up the atmosphere, of course.
