Cheap publicity
I don't know how effective this will be, but I've stuck a label in the rear windscreen of my car. It just shows our web site address in green on a yellow background. I'm hoping that anyone seeing it might be intrigued enough to commit it to memory and then to access it as soon as they get new a computer. May have no effect, but you never know.

Service Pals
I have just sent the attached email to Service Pals on Channel 4 Teletext. It will be interesting to see if it generates any responses.
"Did you see service in the Malayan Emergency/Borneo Confrontation Campaigns. If so you are probably entitled to receive a new medal from the Malaysian Government, the Pingat Jasa Malaysia. To find out more contact www.fight4thepjm.org, or phone Gerald Law on 01293-885121"

Good thinking Gerry!
Never a bad idea to get the 'company logo' up there on the 'box'....hope you experience much success with this approach.

Another approach
I've just sent an email to Saga magazine highlighting the PJM. I didn't go into the details of the decision to forbid "formal" wearing of the medal, but just outlined the fact that veterans can visit this site to get more gen.

Yesterday's count
Given the tighter controls that I had to put on the Teletext message, Tuesday's count was down on Monday's. A bit of a relief actually, as my ear was getting quite sore. Anyway, 25 people phone, of whom 17 would seem to qualify by the time they were out there. I shall knock up a spreadsheet to show the numbers, once I can get some peace from the phone ringing.
