Post CHILDREN IN MILITIARY IN IRAQ.
IT SEEMS,THAT THE M.O.D. HAS SENT 'CHILDREN' TO SERVE IN IRAQ,THAT IS THE TERM BEING USED FOR OUR TROOPS ,WHO ARE NOT 18 YRS OLD,SOME OF THESE,THEN I'LL DESCRIBE AS GIRLS,AS THEY ARE FEMALE.NOT GOING TO GET INTO ANYTHING MORE THAN AGE HERE,BUT DOES IT STRIKE A BELL FOR SOME OF OUR MEMBERS,THIS MEANS I SPENT 8 MONTHS IN THEATRE AS A CHILD, BEFORE MY OFFICIAL TIME IN THE NAVY EVEN BEGAN,UNDER THE TERMS OF ENLISTMENT IN FORCE AT THE TIME.MY QUESTION IS DO I NOW HAVE TO RETURN MY G.S.M BORNEO + MALAY PENINSULAR,TO MY HEADMASTER,AND GET 400 LINES FOR BUNKING OFF SCHOOL,OR EVEN BETTER CAN I SUE SOMEONE,FORGET MY LAST<<<<; JUST REALIZED IT WASN'T A WAR,OFFICIAL Exclamation

John Travers Cornwell, in HMS Chester, following the Battle of Jutland, in the first world war, was sixteen when he received a posthumous Victoria Cross.

So was a young soldier from one of the northern regiments, who I believe wasn't even sixteen. Name of Andrew Fitzgibbon

Yours Aye
