Post The Veterans Agency MoD
Right folks, read this page
http://www.veteransagency.mod.uk/veterans_intiative/veterans_intiative.htm

The following is quote from above

'The Minister for Veterans is responsible for ensuring that veterans issues are properly understood, appropriately prioritised and effectively addressed across government, and two groups, the Veterans Task Force and the Veterans Forum, were established to assist the Minister to deliver his responsibilities.

The three main priorities identified for the Initiative were:

To pull together the Government's response to issues affecting Veterans that cut across Government departments.
To ensure lessons learnt are absorbed into the Ministry of Defence's policies for Service personnel; and
To improve communication by publicising the assistance offered to veterans by central, devolved and local government and by giving veterans organisations the opportunity to represent their collective and individual concerns to Government at Ministerial level'

My interpretation of the above is that they (The MoD Veterans Agency and Minister) is on our side. We meet the criteria being Veterans so how about one of our foremost ranking campaigners composing one of their special letters to the Veterans Minister for cutting across Government Depts to represent our case regarding the PJMi

I noticed that page at the top is no longer available.

Mention of Service Records, particularly RN Records being accessible why not have a look at this http://www.veteransagency.mod.uk/service_records/service_records.html
