Yesterday in the Commons, Mr Touhig announced that there will be special events in June to commemorate the successful outcome of the Falklands Conflict. I saw it on "TheyWorkForYou" and I have posed the question there as to whether there are plans for something similar in August to commemorate the end of Confrontation. It would be an ideal time to present us with our PJMs, don't you think. Might be worth visiting the site and adding your three-pennorth?

Likewise yours and Gerry's.
I get sick and tired of reading about those who have never served jumping up and down with patriotic glee about our victories.

I've just revisted TheyWorkForYou and seen Barry's and John's comments. Great stuff. I've also emailed Don Touhig with similar sentiments. This could be a useful anciliary mode of attack. It's one area where the Veteran's Minister does have a remit.
