Post The Queen forwards Paul's letter to Tony
Paul Alders has asked me to forward post this letter he has received from Buckingham Palace.

Paul said "Sorry I don’t have a copy of the letter that I sent to Buck House. I do know that I was in a right mood when I sent it, I was polite but very firm about my remarks, something about being treated differently to my commonwealth colleagues and feeling insulted but I did finish the letter with the words “ after all this I still remain your loyal and obedient servant” You had better put it on the forum."

I bet his letter went down well with the head of the Commonwealth.

The important point is that she has sent it to her Prime Minister.

This is an excellent example of successful lobbying. Great stuff, Paul!

Another message from Paul ....

"I forgot to say, I hand wrote the envelope and put a picture of the PJM on it.

I have seen on the TV how she picks some correspondence out her self to open, so I tried to get the envelope noticed, this is what might have happened.

Let’s just hope Tony Blair takes notice. "

What a brilliant idea - one we should all follow. I had heard about that habit of hers.

Now, where's me PJM piccies, scissors, and glue ...

You could say 'Hi Queenie' or just plain Liz or you could do it the official way

Her Majesty The Queen
Buckingham Palace
London, SW1A 1AA
UNITED KINGDOM

You simply write Your Majesty,

In closing, you have two choices: very formal, or less formal
Very Formal: Madam, I have the honour to remain
Your Majesty's humble and obedient servant, or
Less Formal: Yours sincerely,
